We have a helicopter pad onsite which has been built to international standards and has approved lighting for safe night flights.

We have curated several tours that operate exclusively from Kauri Hills Helipad.

Rob, our property manager can organise these, email him for prices. The tours range from 2 people to 4 people.

Cape Reinga Fly/Drive Tour, with Bay of Islands and land on The Hole in the Rock

9.00am pick up from Kauri Hills Estate and fly up the west coast

9.40am Arrive at our airstrip at Waitiki Landing

10.00am – 1.00pm Cape Reinga private vehicle tour (Morning tea included)

1.00pm  Depart Waitiki Landing to fly down the east coast

1.35pm  Arrive at Mahinepua Peninsula for lunch stop  

3.00pm Depart lunch stop to continue down the east coast to the Hole in the Rock

3.20pm Land on the Hole in the Rock for 15 minutes (photo opportunity and pilot will give history and small walk around the island)

3.35pm Depart the Hole in the Rock to return to Kauri Hills Estate

3.55pm Arrive Kauri Hills Estate

Bay of Islands scenic tour with land on the Hole in the Rock and Sage lunch

Pick up from Kauri Hills Estate, fly down the east coast over the Bay of Islands and land on the Hole in the Rock for 10-15 minutes, then drop at Sage Restaurant for lunch (pay for your meal and drinks directly).  Once you have finished lunch the helicopter will return to pick them up and fly direct to Kauri Hills Estate.
